The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized a value-added course on cyber crime on 9th and 10th November 2022 at Indirani College of Nursing, Ariyur, Puducherry. The eminent speakers Mr. Vijayakumar G, the Founder and Director, Rana foundation, Puducherry and Mr. Neranjan. U, Tech expert deliberated in-detail about the concepts and techniques of cyber crime, cyber crime methods, computer insecurity, fraud management and how to stay in online securely on the first day. The second day - Cyber crime reporting, Investigation, Evidence collection, risk management were discussed, and narrated about online bank transaction related fraudulence activities, cyber law, human traits and regulatory compliance. The students of B.Sc Nursing II year and P.B.B.Sc II year attended the course for 2 days. The participants were gained knowledge about cyber security and how to be safe while handling online sites. Overall Programme was organized and conducted successfully by Ms.Dhanlakshmi.J under the guidance of principal Prof.Dr.Malliga.M and Prof.Dr.Rajeswari.R, Vice Principal cum IQAC coordinator. The program ended at 4.30pm. Certificates were presented to the beneficiaries by the presenters. At the end of the presentation the beneficiaries given a very good feedback about the information provided at all session.
