VOLUNTEER PARTICIPATION IN MARATHON EVENT BY SVCOPT STUDENTS @ GLOBAL GOAL RUN 2K26-PondyYouth Fest

On 4th January 2025, students from Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy proudly took part as volunteers in a marathon event held at Rock Beach, Pondicherry. This initiative provided a valuable platform for students to contribute their clinical skills and promote community wellness.

A total of 12 postgraduate Physiotherapy students actively participated in this event. Their primary role was to assist runners by providing pre-run warm-up and stretching sessions, ensuring that participants were physically prepared and injury risks were minimized.

The entire volunteer effort was smoothly coordinated by Ms. Subashini, our dedicated student coordinator, who ensured the team’s active involvement and effective support throughout the event.

This event not only enhanced the students practical exposure but also reinforced their commitment to promoting health and fitness in the community.
