Introduction: On Commemoration of World Immunization Day, Department of Child Health Nursing has organized a Poster Presentation Program on the theme of “Long Life for all” on 10.11.2022 between 10.00 AM to 11.00 AM at Sri Venkateshwara Medical College Hospital & Research Centre. Report of the event: M.Sc Nursing I year and B.Sc nursing II year students presented a Poster Presentation about Immunization, benefits, schedule, and its importance focused on the theme. The program was started at 10.00 AM with the warm welcome by Ms. Priyanka , M.Sc Nursing I year and the posters was presented to the patients and public. Many postnatal mothers and patients witnessed and gained knowledge about the Immunization. 4 students from M.Sc Nursing I year and 9 students from B.Sc nursing II year has actively planned and participated in the programme. Overall program was organized and conducted successfully by Mrs. Vijayasri.V, under the Guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Malliga. M and Prof. Dr. Rajeswari. R Vice Principal cum IQAC Coordinator. The program was successfully ended by 11AM. Conclusion: The participant’s feedback was obtained at the end of the program which stated that the Poster presentation was very useful and that the patients gained in- depth knowledge. Their feedback was analyzed and interpreted as excellent, good, and fair. Out of 20 participants, 75% had revealed as excellent, 25 % had revealed as good .
