WORLD SCHIZOPHRENIA AWARENESS DAY – 2025

THEME: “CELEBRATING THE POWER OF COMMUNITY KINDNESS”

VENUE: INDIRANI COLLEGE OF NURSING                                                                                                                                                                                       

On the Commemoration of World Schizophrenia Awareness Day – 2025,with the theme “Celebrating the Power of Community Kindness”,Department of Mental Health Nursing and Nursing Education Unit, were conducting Quiz competiton on 24.05.2025 at Indirani College of Nursing. 

Report on the event: The Nursing Education Unit and the Department of Mental Health Nursing at Indirani College of Nursing organized a Quiz Competition on 24.05.2025, in commemoration of World Schizophrenia Awareness Day 2025. The event was held under the theme "Celebrating the Power of Community Kindness" to promote awareness and understanding of schizophrenia, as well as the significance of community support for individuals living with mental health conditions.

The quiz aimed to provide a platform for B.Sc Nursing IV Year students to deepen their knowledge and engage actively with mental health topics, specifically focusing on schizophrenia and the role of kindness and support in the community.

 The entire programme could be organized by the Prof. Jayanthi. K, HOD, Department of Mental Health Nursing, and Mrs .Hema Pooja.v, Tutor.
