Chief Guest of the program Mr. Umanath Selvan, Senior Associate Consultant, CGI, Chennai & Tamil Literature Writer delivered the speech for the students emphasizing the prime objective of the world habitat Day and on the basic right of all to adequate shelter. It further amplifies towards the development, improvement and status of urbanization.
Dr. B. Radjaram, Chairman, Institution of Enginneer, Puducherry State Centre and Er. S. Thirugnanam, Honorary Secretary, Institution of Engineer, Puducherry State Center felicitated the program and motivated the students regarding World Habitat Day. Shri. B. Ramachandiran, chairman, SVGI emphasized on developing and improving the status of urban environment. Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal, SVCET welcomed the gathering and Dr. K.B. Jayarraman, Dean, SVCET delivered vote of thanks. The program was well organized by Dr. G. Amuthavalli, Research & Development cell Head and the team members.
