On 12th November 2024 SVCET Principal, Vice Principal, Placement Offier met Mr.Jorge, Head, Fablab, Centre for Scientific Research, Auroville at CSR, Auroville.
Initially, a fortnight before, he came to our campus for discussions to conduct workshop for our students about 3D printing of sustainable buildings.
We extended the discussions to start a club for our small group of students who are interested in design and fabrication of 3D printers, CNC machines. This club will mainly focus on sustainable solutions by utilising waste materials for fabricating the products.
As an extension of discussion, today we met him and discussed about making the club functional and also spoke about internships in CSR, Auroville
