An interactive workshop on hand rehabilitation was held at Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy. Puducherry.
On 29thand 30thof September 2022, Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy (SVCOPT) in collaboration with Manuszeal Healthcare Academy held a hands-on workshop on hand rehabilitation to broaden the practical skills of physiotherapy students and professionals. The workshop was organized with the guidance and motivation of the honourable chairman, Shri B. Ramachandiran, and Dr. B Vidhya, Chief Operating Officer, Sri Venkateshwaraa Group of Institutions (SVGI), Puducherry.
Dr. D. Kishore Kumar, Director of Manuszeal Academy, was the workshop's course director, and he provided practical training on "Emerging Trends in Hand Rehabilitation" with guest speakers Mr. Check Abdoul Rahimane, orthotist, GH Puducherry, and Dr. S. Mohanapriya, Cloudnine Hospital, Chennai.Professionals and students from various locations took part in this event and were trained with hands-on skills. The two-day workshop had a significant impact on students' ability to update their skills and contributed to the creation of a healthier society.
The program organizing head, Prof. K. Anand Babu, vice principal (academic & research),initiated this workshop, which was supported by Prof. T. Bharaneedharan, vice principal (admin). The overall program was coordinated by Paul Raj M, Associate Professor, with significant assistance from student’svolunteers of BPT third year, final year and faculty members, particularly Ms. B. Simulia Dhinju, Associate Professor, SVCOPT.Ultimately, the programme received positive feedback from participants, and they were eventually certified by Manuszeal Healthcare Academy.
