INTROX 2021-22 - Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology, Ariyur, Puducherry 605 102.

Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology welcomed a new batch of students for the academic year 2021-2022 on 15.12.2021(Thursday). The inauguration was held in a colourful and aesthetically decorated, Sai auditorium at SVGI.

The programme began with an invocation song and the customary lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries on the dais, which was followed by welcome speech by Dr S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal. In his speech he welcomed all the students, parents, Chief Guests and he called upon the students to emulate their predecessors to excel in their academic pursuits. The Programme was presided by Shri. B. Ramachandran, Chairman and he insisted that the parents must be very supportive for the betterment of their children and students must know their responsibilities. He told that SVCET is the place for learning and be proud for good start right now set right to achieve your destination. The Programme was felicitated by Dr. B. Vidhya, Chief Operation Officer, SVGI.

The chief guest Mr.Veerabathran Duraikannan, Vice President,Infiniti Software Solutions Pvt Ltd, Chennai, delivered an inspirational speech by taking example of his own childhood  and enlightened students on topics like how to communicate  properly and develop a culture to face the competitive world and encouraged the students to work towards the achievement of their goals.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. K. B. Jayarraman, DEAN, SVCET. He extended his heartfelt thanks to all the dignitaries and participants. The event was finally brought to a finale, by singing our National Anthem.
