NSS Orientation Programme 2025

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Paramedical Sciences (SVCPSM) and Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy (SVCOPT) proudly organized the NSS Orientation Programme 2025 on 16th October 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall, SVCPSM.

The programme began with the NSS motto — “Not Me, But You” — emphasizing the spirit of selfless service and community development.

The event was graced by the Honorable Chief Guests:

• Dr. D. Satish Kumar, State NSS Officer, Puducherry

• Dr. S. Saravanan, Programme Coordinator, NSS (Colleges), Puducherry

The Guests of Honour were:

• Prof. Dr. C. Ananda Vayaravel, Dean, SVCPSM

• Prof. Dr. S. Jeyanthi, Principal, SVCOPT

The orientation aimed to enlighten new NSS volunteers about the values, objectives, and social responsibilities of the NSS programme. The speakers inspired students to engage actively in community welfare, social awareness, and nation-building activities.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. S. Sowmiya, Programme Officer, NSS Unit, SVCPSM, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries and volunteers for their participation and enthusiasm.

The event reflected the true essence of NSS — “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”
