Prosthodontist Day Celebration at Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College On January 22, 2025.

Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College (SVDC) commemorated Prosthodontist Day with great

e n t h u s i a s m . The event, primarily organized for second-year, third-year, final-year, interns a n d

postgraduate students, as well as society, aimed to promote awareness about the importance of

Prosthodontics. The program commenced with the presence of our esteemed Chief Operating Officer

of SVGI, Dr. Vidhya Rangaraju, Dr. S. Senthilnathan, Principal of SVDC; Dr. Sudhakar and Dr.

Yuvaraj, Vice Principals; and faculty members from various departments. The celebration began

with the inauguration of the VIP clinic, SVDC by Chief guests Dr. Rangarajan and Dr. Sanketh

Reddy. In the Sai Auditorium, Dr. Varsha Murthy, HOD, department of Prosthodontics, warmly

welcomed the chief guests, followed by the release of the college magazine, Denticle. Dr. Amuthan,

Senior lecturer, department of Prosthodontics, introduced the chief guests, after which Dr.

Rangarajan delivered an elaborate keynote lecture on "Prosthodontics in the Digital Era." Dr.

Sanketh Reddy emphasized the importance of Prosthodontists. The event also featured a screening

camp conducted in collaboration with, Dr. Shobana, HOD incharge, Department of Public Health

Dentistry and interns. The Chief guests, Dr. Rangarajan and Dr. Sanketh Reddy provided awareness

about Prosthodontic specialty to the general public at Integra Softwares Pvt Ltd. Dr. Hiba and Dr.

Akansha, Postgraduates delivered awareness talks, while Dorai Ragav and his team performed an

awareness skit highlighting the importance of Prosthodontists in society. The program concluded

with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Shanmugapriya, Senior lecturer, marking the end of a

memorable and informative day.
