In commemoration of World Earth day, Theme – Restore Our Earth, 22.04.2021, between 2.30 pm – 3.30 pm, Institution's Innovation Council & IQAC, Indirani College of Nursing organized Extempore for III Year B.Sc. Nursing students on the topic – Role of Youth in Restoring Earth.

In commemoration of World Earth day, Theme – Restore Our Earth, 22.04.2021, between 2.30 pm – 3.30 pm, Institution's Innovation Council & IQAC, Indirani College of Nursing organized Extempore for III Year B.Sc. Nursing students on the topic – Role of Youth in Restoring Earth. The Programme started at 2.30 pm with welcome address by Mr. Kavusihan G, III Year B.Sc. Nursing . Nine students from III Year B.Sc. Nursing presented in Extempore with great enthusiasm on various sub topics related to Role of Youth in Restoring Earth.
The topics presented by Students were, Ms. Anushya N – Earth Day Concept, Ms. Sumi S – Ways to Conserve Earth, Ms. Soundarya V – How to Restore earth, Ms. Pooja A – Problems and Effects the methods to save Earth, Ms. Nishanthi S – Conservation of natural resources, Ms. Monica S – Save Earth and Save Life, Ms. Harini R – Environmental Conservation, Ms. Ramya S – Nature Conservation and Ms. Vijayapriya R - Conservation of Soil. The topics discussed by the students were really thought provoking. The students and the faculty members actively observed the Extempore. And given the feedback that this Extempore was useful and they understood the essence of restoring our earth for healthy living.
Three Students selected for I, II & III prize. Ms. Pooja A – Problems and Effects the methods to save Earth – I Prize, Ms. Vijayapriya R - Conservation of Soil – II Prize and Ms. Monica S – Save Earth and Save Life – III Prize. The Programme ended at 4pm with vote of thanks rendered by Ms. Kayathiry L. The beneficiaries were 60 III Year B.Sc. Nursing Students and 3 faculty members.
