First-Year B.Tech & MBA Induction Programme Inaugurated at SVCET

Puducherry, September 17, 2026:

Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology (SVCET), Ariyur, Puducherry, organised the Inaugural Function of INTROX’26–27, the first-year B.Tech and MBA induction programme, on September 17, 2026, at the college auditorium.

The programme commenced with the welcome address by Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal, SVCET, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, students and parents. Shri B. Ramachandiran, Chairman, Sri Venkateshwaraa Group of Institutions, presided over the function and delivered the Presidential Address, highlighting the academic standing and achievements of the institution  and the wide range of facilities available for students. He also motivated the newly admitted students  to set clear goals, develop their skills, work with dedication and strive for excellence in their chosen fields.

The Chief Guest, Mr. Suresh Aade, Head of Human Resources, Foodhub GCC & IT Product Development, Bengaluru, addressed the gathering and shared valuable insights with the newly inducted students. He encouraged students to make effective use of their college years, develop professional skills and remain adaptable to the changing demands of the industry.

An important highlight of the programme was the release of the College Magazine, “INSPERIA” and Newsletter for the academic year 2025–26, showcasing the institution's academic, co-curricular, research and student achievements.

The function also witnessed the launch of “Campus Connect,” an ERP platform developed to facilitate seamless digital connectivity and academic and administrative interaction within the college community.

 The dignitaries, including  Smt. Dr. B. Vidhya Rangaraju, Chief Operating Officer, SVGI and Dr. Soundarajan, Manager,  SVGI  , felicitated the occasion and extended their best wishes to the students. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Dr. K. B. Jayarraman, Vice Principal, SVCET, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, students and all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the inaugural function.

The inaugural function marked a significant beginning for the first-year students as they embarked on their academic journey at SVCET, inspiring them to pursue excellence, innovation and personal growth throughout their college life.
