On observation of World Hepatitis Day, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing and Obstetrical and Gynaecological Nursing jointly organized “Interdepartmental Teaching Programme” for B.Sc Nursing II year students on 28.07.2023 from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

On observation of World Hepatitis Day, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Child Health Nursing and Obstetrical and Gynaecological Nursing jointly organized “Interdepartmental Teaching Programme” for B.Sc Nursing II year students on 28.07.2023 from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. The welcome address was delivered by Mrs.Nandhini S, Lecturer, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing. On the foremost Ms.Kaviya M.Sc Nursing II Year, from Department of Medical Surgical Nursing presented on “Overview of Hepatitis” and the next session was deliberated by Ms.Divya, Department of Community Health Nursing on “Epidemiology of Hepatitis and its prevention”.  The third session was deliberated by Ms.Soumiya, M.Sc Nursing II Year, Department of Child Health Nursing on “Prevention and control of Hepatitis in Child”. And the last session was deliberated by Mrs.Sathyabama M.sc Nursing II year, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing; She has presented the Hepatitis, Types, and mode of transmission, clinical manifestation, diagnosis, Management of Hepatitis during pregnancy. B.Sc (Nursing) II year students 100 in number have actively participated. The program successfully ended at 4.30 pm with a vote of thanks given by Ms. G.Gunasakthi, Lecturer. The overall program organized by Ms.Dhanalakshmi J, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Health Nursing, Mrs.Nandhini S, Lecturer, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, Mrs.Vijayasri, Lecturer, Department of Child Health Nursing, and G.Gunasakthi, Lecturer, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing. The participant’s feedback was obtained at the end of the program. It was very informative and helpful for the participants. 53% of students gave feedback as Excellent, 27% of students gave as Very Good and 20% gave as Good as Feedback. The overall program was conducted under Principal Prof. Dr. Malliga M and Prof. Rajeswari R, vice principal cum IQAC  Coordinator.
