YI Design Thinking Workshop on 15th April 2026 at SVCET

YI Design Thinking Workshop
Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology (SVCET), Puducherry, in association with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Young Indians (Yi), successfully organized a Design Thinking Workshop on 15th April 2026.
The session was led by Mr. Sankaranand Balaradjou, Tech Project Leader and Founder of Pulsebay Coworking, who brought valuable industry insights and practical perspectives to the participants.
The workshop focused on:
Design Thinking Fundamentals
Problem Identification & Ideation
Innovation and Prototyping
Real-world Application of Ideas
Participants gained hands-on exposure to structured problem-solving approaches and learned how to transform ideas into actionable solutions. The session was highly interactive, encouraging creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking among students.
The event was organized by Dr. B. Magimai Raj (Vice President – IIC), and Mr. C. Manikandan (Convenor – IIC), with coordination by Mrs. K. Lakshmipriya (AP/S&H).
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation and served as a valuable platform for nurturing innovation and entrepreneurial mindset among students.
