DENTART DENTAL LAB, PONDICHERRY

1. MOU between Dentart Dental Lab and SVDC was signed on 20.12.2021. followed by CRRIS Of Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College visited Dental lab on 10.08.2021 & 11.08.202. Learning Outcome of visits offer a great source to gain practical knowledge of CD and FPD. Students can observe and learn as to how theatrical concepts are put to into action, thereby aiding their practical learning. Students are exposed to real working environment and shown how things are done in an organisation.
2. HANDS ON PROGRAM – CAST PARTIAL DENTURE: The program was attended by 29 participants from 8 Colleges across Tamilnadu & Puducherry- Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research,Chennai,Meenakshi Ammal Dental College and Hospital,Chennai, Sri Venkateswara Dental College & Hospital,Chennai,Thai Moogambigai Dental College and Hospital,Chennai,Tagore Dental College & Hospital,Chennai,Karpaga vinayaga institute of dental sciences, Kanchipuram, CSI Dental college,Madurai, Mahe Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital, Mahe, Kerala.The program started with welcome note & the introductory note about the speaker was given by Dr.Varshamurthy,HOD,  Department of prosthodontics and crown & bridge. This was followed by lecture given by Mr.Giorgio Meneghetti on various aspects of surveying , wax pattern  & casting procedure for cast partial denture.This was followed by the inauguration and welcome  speech by Dr.S.Senthilnathan( Principal ), and Dr. Vidhya (COO), Following this On 1^st and 2^nd day demonstration was given fs,or step by step fabrication of CPD. Hands on was  done by the participants under the guidance of resource persons and department faculties. The participants interacted well with the speaker and their doubts were clarified.The program concluded by distribution of certificate and momento to the presenter by Dr.S.Senthilnathan( Principal ), and Dr. Vidhya (COO), Dr. Varshamurthy ( HOD ).  Vote of thanks was given by Dr. Devameena .The program was found to be informative and enlightening by the postgraduate students.

ADHIPARASAKTHI DENTAL COLLEGE, MELMARUVATHUR

 In collaboration of Adhiparasakthi Dental College, Melmaruvathur and Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College organized virtual program of WORLD ORAL HEALTH day program held on 20.03.2021.

1. Dr. Varsha Murthy, Ph.D, MDS, Professor and Head, Department of Prosthodontics, Member and Secretary of Dental Communication Unit of SVDC delivered a Guest lecture titled on “What Dentist don’t get to study in Dental School” on 25.03.2021. Faculties and post graduates of Adhi Parasakthi Dental College were attended this lecture.
2. In collaboration of Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College and Adhiparasakthi Dental College organized faculty exchange and student exchange program on 17.11.2021. Students and faculty visited all speciality Departments and attended CBCT program.

VINAYAKA MISSIONS SANKARACHARIYAR DENTAL COLLEGE, SALEM

1. Collaboration of Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College (Department of Public health dentistry), National Service Scheme, State tobacco control cell, Pondicherry and Vinayaka Missions Sankarachariyar Dental College, Salem (Department of Public health dentistry) observed World No Tobacco Day Awareness Programme on  31/05/2021.
2. A Two days Webinar on Student communication skill enhancement program “Effective Patient Communication skills in Dentistry” was organized for the first year undergraduates and interns of on 13th and 14th September 2021 from 1pm to 4pm by Student council of Vinayaka Mission’s Sankarachariyar Dental College, Salem along with the Dental Education unit of Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College, Pudhuchery. Total of 160 participants attended the webinar.

 SATYA SPECIAL SCHOOL, PUDUCHERRY.

1. Department of Public health Dentistry, Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental college in collaboration with National Service scheme (NSS) and Satya Special School celebrated world disability day on 23.12.2021(Thursday) at Satya Special School, Puducherry.

PONDY YOGA CENTRE, PONDICHERRY

Collaboration of Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College and Pondy Yoga Centre organised sensitization lecture on 01.12.2021 from 11.30am to 12.30 pm. Shri.Yogacharya B.Dhinagaran gave sensitization lecture to faculty and CRRI regarding Yoga wellness. Yoga education can supplement school and university education. It can prepare the students physically and mentally for the integration of their physical, mental and spiritual faculties so that the students can become healthier, saner and more integrated members of the society and of the nation.

 JJM HEALTHCARE SOLUTION, CHENNAI

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College and JJMHealth care Solution, CHENNAI for conduct of Campus recruitment, training/orientation and Career guidance for students in the field of Dental/Medical Coding/ Cosmetology. The Placement cell of Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College (SVDC) organized a Campus interview for the outgoing CRI’s of 2020 -21 Batch. The campus interview was attended by 15 CRI’s & 4 students joined the Coding training for placement. Dr. Murali Mani, CEO of
