Oneday hands-on workshop on basic Implantology was conducted on the 7thof November 2023 at Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College, Ariyur, Puducherry. The program was organized by Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and sponsored by STRAUMANN IMPLANTS. Program started with a series of lectures on basic implantology by Dr.KeerthanaRao, MDS,SeniorLecturer, Dr.VineethKumar,MDS, SeniorLecturer, Dr.Kavitha,MDS, SeniorLecturer, Dr.Balatandayoudham,MDS, Professor, Dr.Yuvaraj, MDS, Professor, followed by a live surgical demonstration on implant placement using3Dsurgicalguideand hands-onplacement onStyrofoammodelbyparticipants in the post lunch session. Around 100 participants were benefited from attending the workshop.
