SVCET- Field Visit to ATAL Incubation Center-Pondicherry Engineering College Foundation (AIC-PECF) on 05-09-2023 Under the Flagship Program, Puduvai Startup Sprint, Supported by Department of Industries, Government of Puducherry

            The 75 students from different disciplines of Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology (SVCET) have enrolled in Puduvai Startup Sprint (PSS), which is a Flagship program organized by ATAL Incubation Center-Pondicherry Engineering College Foundation (AIC-PECF), ssupported by Department of Industries, Government of Puducherry. The main objective of the PSS program is to accelerate Academic R&D to market by creating student self-employment and job opportunities and thereby encouraging and supporting the home-grown startup venture. As a part of the program, the 75 students and 5 faculty visited the AIC-PECF on 05-09-2023. The focus of the field visit was to explore the different stages of incubation process in the product development. The students had a practical exposure on the focus areas of Electronics Design and Manufacturing (EDM), Advanced Robotics (AR), Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) & Internet of Things (IoT). Our two student teams pitched up their business ideas and the students understood the clear insights of product development and startup support system offered by AIC-PECF. The field visit was organized well by our Research & Development Cell.
