Youth Outreach Initiative organized by Akashvani Puducherry was conducted at SVCET on 24TH OCTOBER 2025

The Youth Outreach Initiative organized by Akashvani Puducherry was conducted at Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering and Technology on 24.10.25 to encourage active youth participation and to nurture the creative and intellectual potential of students.

The event was formally inaugurated by the Principal,  Dr.S.Pradeep Devaneyan, Vice-Principal, Dr.K.B.Jayarraman and Mrs. Elizabeth, Program Executive of Akashvani Puducherry, who graced the occasion with their presence.

The event comprised three main activities — quiz contest,essay writing competition and extempore.

The programme received an enthusiastic response from the first-year students of SVCET who participated with great interest and confidence. The competitions provided a valuable platform for students to enhance their knowledge, writing, and public speaking skills.

The winners of the event will qualify for the final rounds of the intercollegiate competition and will be given an opportunity to compere on Akashvani.
